Load Operators

Location: Dilley, TX; Enid, OK; Gonzales, TX; Pecos, TX; and Kermit, TX

This Equipment Operator is responsible of operating machine to load and unload trucks and trains.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to understand and track safety, quality and productivity data, including run rates, fill weights, and averages
  • Ability to complete production; inspection reports
  • Ability to use basic math to calculate loading weights
  • Ability to work outside; in inclement weather & meet physical requirements of position
  • Ability to work past shift hours or come in early as needed
  • Ability to open, close stated bins for unloading or loading sand.
  • Valid driving license

All drivers must be available to work all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY:

Execute scheduled, preventative and predictive maintenance tasks in an industrial plant environment. Also, offer suggestions to improve the maintenance program. Assist operations in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Recommend measures to improve equipment performance, and maintenance systems. Responsible for tools and maintaining supply of tools. Perform any task necessary for plant production in accordance with the Maintenance Manager’s direction. Work in a safe manner at all times, as per MSHA and company regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic maintenance & repair of machinery/equipment
  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanic assists in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanic has the ability to set spherical roller bearings on taperlock bushes
  • Industrial Maintenance Mechanic has the ability to set and align V-belt drive systems
  • Knowledge of conveyor belt tracking and repair is an advantage
  • Ability to re-build shaft mounted Dodge gearboxes is an advantage
  • Metal fabrication and welding techniques is an advantage – vertical pass; torch use; etc.
  • Execute tasks during scheduled down times including maintenance and inspections; report deficiencies
  • Strive for compliance with MSHA and Company safety regulations, standards and procedures
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure that the plant runs efficiently
  • Directly report to the Maintenance Manager for any issues, problems, breakdowns, and needs
  • Shift work may be required
  • Understand all plants process flow, and any plant limiting factors
  • Familiar with all plant equipment to include the following: belt feeders; Diester screen; slurry pumps; cyclones; hydrosizers; dewatering screens; conveyors; fluid bed dryer; rotary drum dryer; baghouse; fans; burners; Rotex mineral separators; air actuated gates; bucket elevators; silo baghouses; load spout & filter module; truck scales; track belts; shovel tail pulleys; bobcat; keep Rotex screen deck clean; be accountable for tools
  • Maintain: skirt board rubber; primary and secondary scrapers; belt splices; idlers; bearings
  • Inspect bucket elevators for tracking, buckets, splice, bearings, shafts, head and tail pulleys
  • Ensure that all air actuated flop gates are operating properly and are controlled by the PLC
  • Repair and maintenance of large blower fans – pillow block bearings and v-belt drives
  • Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks as necessary

JOB SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of Maintenance / Millwright or similar experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing using English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

Dispatcher - Fort Worth, TX

JOB SUMMARY:

Administration of the dispatch process through the exercise of specific skills and independent judgment relating to daily operations and company requirements. Demonstration of critical thinking by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to new or existing issues in daily operations.

SUMMARY of ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Constantly and consistently communicates with the customer to ensure accurate planning, scheduling, and resolution of all customer requirements and concerns in a professional, accurate and expeditious manner.
  • Communicates with the customer to ensure awareness of all pick-up and/or delivery times and special instructions.
  • Communicates with drivers and Site Supervisors to ensure awareness of all pick-up and/or delivery times and special instructions.
  • Communicates to the Terminal Managers status reports for driver issues, customer issues, and daily workloads.
  • Plans, evaluates, and monitors driver schedules and hours of service to ensure DOT compliance and workload balance.
  • Assesses, determines and communicates need for driver reassignments in case of delays, detention, breakdowns or interruptions to service.
  • Prepares daily work and run schedules.
  • Monitors location of drivers and unit locations through use of computerized GPS satellite system.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Minimum two years' experience in transportation dispatch and customer service required.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem resolution and communication skills required.
  • Excellent skills in independent judgment and decision-making while considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to the customer and to the company.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, solve problems and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment under strict timeframes.
  • Ability to compile and interpret data.
  • Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision in making workload and allocation decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; keyboarding and typing skills required.
  • Ability to use company-provided cell phones, I-phones and computers to communicate with customers, drivers, Site Supervisors, and other co-workers and managers.
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to work different shifts, including weekends on a rotating schedule as needed, to cover hours of normal operation.
